Christina Applegate New Outlook for 2009
Christina Applegate , 37, looks absolutely gorgeous walking down the red carpet at the 66th Golden Globe 2009 awards. She looks like a sunshine goddess in her gold strapless gown with full gathered skirt by Roberto Cavalli and a large jeweled necklace by Lorraine Schwarz.
She’s looking great now after going surviving a double tragedy last year with the death of her ex-boyfriend and after being diagnosed with breast cancer and undergoing a double mastectomy – even though cancer was only detected in one of her breasts.
”It’s about finding happiness and joy, as if it were water and I was a person dying in a desert. You have to search for that. You can’t get any darker than I went.”” Applegate tells PEOPLE.
The actress recently won the Favorite Female Star at the 35th Annual People’s Choice Awards. She was also nominated for Best Actress in a Television series for her work on “Samantha Who?” at the Golden Globe but lost out to “30 Rock’s” Tina Fey.
