Nicole Kidman Appears on Postage Stamp
I wonder how it feels like to have your face on a postage stamp. I wouldn’t know but Nicole Kidman, Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett will soon. This is because they have been selected to appear on their native country, Australia, special edition 55-cent (about 35 cents U.S.) postage stamps. Now is that awesome or what?!
Nicole Kidmann, 41, was quoted as saying to BBC “ ”Something like this – when you see your face on a stamp – says ‘wow,’”. She added that she is particularly delighted that her children will one day “lick a stamp, put it on an envelope and say, ‘That’s my mum.’ “
Blanchett, 39, is absolutely thrilled by the idea of millions of Australian “licking” her.
Now, where can I get some?!
