Paris Hilton swears that she’s only acting stupid for her hit FOX reality show The Simple Life, costarring Nicole Ritchie.

“For five seasons I was stuck doing this character,” she says. “It was kind of hard always having to play that character when it’s not who I am.”

Hilton, 27, is now launching her new reality show Paris Hilton’s British Best Friend in which 12 young hopefuls battle it out to be crowned her official “British best friend”, claims that she is actually a “strong person” who has been through a lot and acting dumb or stupid is just for television.

Spotted! The lovely heiress Paris Hilton in her star studded blue Tracy Reese dress at the Late Show with David Letterman looking all beautiful and blonde with matching shoes to complete the ensemble.

A week later, a very sexy and brunette Vanessa Minnillo, the former TRL host, was spotted wearing the same outfit at the show’s finale. She completes the look with a pair of black stiletto instead.

Both did a pretty spectacular job of making us feel all celestial with the stars on strapless dress but one particular star outshine the other by a milestone.
